Poarta Alba: Passavant Energy & Enviroment’s WWTP in Romania lend itself to ongoing excellence of execution
Further to Passavant Energy & Environment’s (formerly Passavant Roediger) ever-growing presence and activities in Romania, the company announces another highlight of the significant contracts in the infrastructure implementation throughout the country; PE&E’s success story being Poarta Alba WWTP worth EUR 3,75 Mio.
Passavant Energy & Environment is proud to announce that the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Poarta Alba has successfully completed its performance test run and has been in continuous operation since early 2014. The plant is designed for a daily capacity of just under 10,000 m³/day for a population of 54,864 and is equipped with the latest state-of the art equipment for Biogas Energy recovery, utilizing a 400 kW CHP engine to generate 140 kWh/h of electrical and heat energies and 220 kWh/h thermal output, both of which are used in the operation of the plant.
