PE&E extends footprint in India with signing a major contract in Allahabad
Passavant Energy & Environment has recently signed a contract with the authorities of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Allahabad, India for the turnkey delivery of a sewerage network of 134 kilometers length including two pumping stations and Operations and Maintenance services for 10 years.
The acquired project is part of the National Ganga River Basin Project for which the World Bank has sanctioned a loan of US$ 1 billion.
This is the fourth public works project which Passavant Energy & Environment has acquired in India where already two 95,000 m3/day sewage treatment plant projects are being constructed in Amritsar, Punjab and an 80 kilometer sewerage network system and pump station will be built in Nathdwara.
