PASSAVANT Energy & Environment received Taking-Over Certificate for WWTP Gabal El Asfar

PASSAVANT Energy & Environment GmbH is pleased to announce in 2018 the completion of WWTP Gabal El Asfar the biggest Wastewater Treatment Plant in Africa. The project was successfully executed in a Joint Venture together with Acciona Agua and Hussien Atieh & Sons Co. 

The project includes the design, construction and commissioning of the WWTP as well as its operation and maintenance contract. The plant has a treatment capacity of 500,000 cubic meters per day and caters to the needs of the eastern part of the Egyptian capital, equivalent to a population of about 2 million people.
