Dipl.-Ing. Christian Schulmerich studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He gained his first professional experience at a large German engineering company for plant construction in the field of waste air purification; after a few years he moved to the Water- and Wastewater sector. Meanwhile, he has almost 40 years of experience in international plant engineering construction, being in positions of the Project Manager as well as the department Manager. Long term international assignments abroad in France and India have strengthened his intercultural work skills.
From 2012 he leads the QHSE Management at Passavant Energy & Environment GmbH as Head of QHSE and takes care of the company’s policies and procedures which ensure compliance with our world-class services with German standards. He implements our ISO certification of DIN EN ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 at Passavant Energy & Environment and safeguards their continuous development.
Christian Schulmerich is actively working in committees of the GWP – German Water Partnership, of the DWA – German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste as well as the VDMA – German Mechanical Engineering and Plant Manufacturing Association – in which Passavant Energy & Environment is a member of.
